RFQ File Handling
Current status: file intake is closed. CNCX Tech does not currently provide a public upload field, data room or approved email route for drawings and CAD files.
Do Not Send Controlled Files
Keep drawings and models in your approved system. Do not add them to WordPress, paste them into a website field or send them to an address that has not been confirmed by an accountable CNCX Tech reviewer. Weapon-related, military, export-controlled or otherwise restricted technical data is not accepted through a general website channel.
Controls Required Before Opening
- Approved encrypted transfer and private storage
- Named reviewers and role-based access
- NDA, end-use, destination and supplier approval gates
- Malware scanning and controlled file-version records
- Documented retention, deletion and incident-response ownership
Sharing With a Manufacturing Source
Only the information needed for the defined review should be shared, and only after confidentiality, end-use and supplier approval gates are complete. A partner must not reuse the files for marketing or unrelated work.
Retention, Return and Deletion
No RFQ file should be accepted until an approved retention schedule, backup treatment, return/deletion procedure and verification method are in force.
Incident Handling
The public file channel remains closed until a named security/privacy owner and response process are operational.
For contractual confidentiality, review NDA and drawing IP protection. Personal-data handling is described in the draft privacy notice.
